Sudafed PE Sinus + Pain Relief Day & Night pairs two tablets for the two halves of the day: non-drowsy day tablets for sinus congestion, pressure and headache, and night tablets that add an antihistamine so a blocked or runny nose does not keep you awake. Taken as directed, the pack gives 24 hour relief.

Ingredients

Each day tablet contains phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg and paracetamol 500mg.

Each night tablet contains phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg, paracetamol 500mg and chlorpheniramine maleate 2mg.

Lactose free, gluten free, alcohol free and saccharin sodium free.

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 day tablets every 4 to 6 hours, and 2 night tablets in the evening at bedtime as necessary. Maximum 6 day tablets and 2 night tablets in 24 hours.

When to stop: adults, after a few days; children, after 48 hours, except on medical advice. If symptoms persist, see your doctor.

Warnings

• Do not use if you have already taken paracetamol or an antihistamine.
• Not for children under 12 years.
• Phenylephrine may cause sleeplessness in some people.
• Chlorpheniramine may cause drowsiness. If drowsy, do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery.
• Avoid alcohol.
• Keep to the recommended dose.
• If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the National Poisons Centre (0800 764 766) or go to a hospital straight away.
