The TePe Interdental Brush Mixed Pack contains a selection of sizes, so you can work out which ones fit your own gaps. Most people need more than one size, and buying a mixed pack is usually cheaper than guessing at single packs until you find the right fit.

Used for

  • Finding the brush sizes that fit your own interdental gaps
  • Everyday use where more than one size is needed
  • Cleaning between the teeth, around implants, crowns and bridges, and around orthodontic brackets and wires

Daily use can help remove up to 40% more plaque than toothbrushing alone, which helps reduce the risk of gum inflammation, tooth decay and bad breath.

The nine TePe sizes

TePe interdental brushes come in nine colour-coded sizes, from 0.4mm to 1.5mm:

  • ISO 0, pink, 0.4mm
  • ISO 1, orange, 0.45mm
  • ISO 2, red, 0.5mm
  • ISO 3, blue, 0.6mm
  • ISO 4, yellow, 0.7mm
  • ISO 5, green, 0.8mm
  • ISO 6, purple, 1.1mm
  • ISO 7, grey, 1.3mm
  • ISO 8, black, 1.5mm

Sizes 0 to 3 have a flexible neck for access to the back teeth. Sizes 4 to 8 have a thicker, bendable wire.

Directions

  • Choose a brush that slides between the teeth with only light resistance. Do not force it, and use a smaller size if it feels tight. If you are not sure, your dentist or dental hygienist can choose the right sizes for you.
  • Insert the brush gently between two teeth and move it back and forth a few times.
  • Rinse the brush with water after use.
  • Use once a day, and replace the brush when the filaments become worn.
  • Do not use regular toothpaste with an interdental brush, as it contains abrasives.
