Vicks Sinex is a decongestant nasal spray. Its active ingredient, oxymetazoline hydrochloride, reduces swelling in the lining of the nose to relieve nasal and sinus congestion.

Ingredients

Oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.05% w/v. Contains benzalkonium chloride and benzyl alcohol as preservatives, with aromas of aloe, eucalyptus and menthol.

Directions

• Remove the protective cap. Before the first use, depress the round tab firmly several times to prime the metering pump.
• Hold the bottle with your thumb at the base and the nozzle between your first and second fingers.
• With your head upright, insert the nozzle into the nostril, depress the pump 2 to 3 times with a firm even stroke and sniff deeply.
• Adults and children 6 years and older, with adult supervision: 2 or 3 sprays in each nostril every 10 to 12 hours.
• Do not exceed 2 doses in 24 hours.

Warnings

• Must not be used in children under 6 years.
