Viratac Cold Sore Cream is an antiviral cream containing aciclovir, used to treat cold sores. It is designed to be used when you feel the tingling, itching or burning sensation of a cold sore starting.

Directions

Apply a small amount 5 times daily to the affected area.

Warnings

• Wash hands before and after touching the cold sore.
• Cold sores are infectious — do not allow others to touch the cold sore, do not share your towel or drinking vessel, and avoid kissing.
• Do not use in the eyes, and avoid touching the eyes when you have a cold sore. Special care is needed when applying make-up.
• Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless under a doctor's supervision.
• Consult your doctor if the cold sore persists beyond 7 days.
